Erika Gullick

Erika Gullick created Conscious Creations Visual Performing Arts Studio in 2014 in an effort to offer a creative space for people to involve themselves in fitness and dance. Originally from Columbus, Ohio Erika spent her younger years involved in community dance, cheer, and step teams in the Columbus area. Erika has spent many years performing and expressing herself through dance, cheer, and step, and has gone on to instruct young dancers, cheerleaders, and steppers throughout the East Coast.

 

"At the age of 3 I began watching dancers, figure skaters, and gymnast on tv and always tried to mimic their movements. Putting myself in that creative place gave me so much satisfaction and joy, I knew it was what I wanted to do"

 

With a Masters in the Art of Teaching, Erika enjoys educating both adults and children in her everyday endeavors. Erika joined the North Carolina State University Varsity Cheerleading Program in 2010, and serves as an assistant coach. Her teams have gone on the place 2nd in the nation in 2011-2012 and in the top 5 in 2013. Erika takes pride in being an alumni cheerleader of The Ohio State University, and Rookie of the Year 2008 with the Columbus Destroyers Dance Team. Now a mother and a wife, Erika shares her articstic passion with her family as well as her surrounding community.
